Chapter 8: A Puzzle
Re: Chapter 8: A Puzzle
Would throwing torches into the space work, or is there too much water on the ground?
Re: Chapter 8: A Puzzle
It would work while it was in the air at least.

The floor is merely a bit damp; there is no standing water that you can see. But throwing a torch on the floor always runs a risk of putting it out.

"Why don't we spread out a bit and then just slowly walk forward?"
Re: Chapter 8: A Puzzle
I say we light a few more torches, toss a couple further into the room then form a line and slowly walk forward.

Grumm concurs.
Re: Chapter 8: A Puzzle
If one can assume we grabbed a fresh batch of torches while recovering upstairs, then I am for that plan.
Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

You can't assume everything. You didn't say anything about getting any torches... and it seems most of you are seriously broke.Nekron99 wrote:If one can assume we grabbed a fresh batch of torches while recovering upstairs, then I am for that plan.

(OOC: But we have a deal with the innkeeper to supply everything we need in return for his percentage. We have been using that place as our personal supply dump all along, including food, barrels of oil, rope, etc even including crockery. I had thought that we were refilling adventuring supplies everytime we went back. )
