Chapter 5: The Rescue

Timorel thinks the party should have turned left.

"Yeah well it is still mighty fresh here in the back so keep moving please." Brother Arven gaggingly whispers from the back of the line ...

"Ah, well, you see, the stinky creatures are what we are searching for. So, contrary to normal wisdom, we need to go toward the stench," Timorel replies.

[Hywaywolf]

Shybolt would rather continue moving in the direction we are going but he'll follow the possessed elf if he turns back

Time might be of the essence - Grumm wants to follow the stench.

Brother Arven sighs and says "Fine then, but you guys in front just need to take deeper breaths so there is less stench for us in the back." Arven will follow as the group leads.

[Solomoriah]

Hey, got stuff going on, will post tonight or tomorrow morning. Get ready, things gonna happen...

Brother Arven shudders as the hairs stand up on his neck. He wonders where the ominious feelings come from.

Don't worry - he probably means good things :)

Rounding the corner, Grumm noticed that the crossing ahead of him was actually a pair of alcoves; he stopped before reaching them, the smell of troglodyte strong in his nose. Sure enough, the alcoves were occupied by a pair of troglodytes, who leaped out in an obvious (and failed) attempt to surprise the adventurers.

Everyone is faster than the troglodytes except, oddly, Grumm. Please declare your actions.

With lightning like reflexes, Brother Arven watches the rear passage, holding his torch high so as to provide maximum light. (unless there is room for me to engage the trogs, but I figure the other 3 are between me and them).
