Chapter 5: The Rescue
Having quickly gathered supplies, the adventurers descended into the cellar.

Grumm will take point, unless Shybolt wants to do the scouting thief thing.
Re: Chapter 5: The Rescue
Go ahead and take point. I still think Timorel should stay in the middle, but if Arven wants to do something besides rear guard, I will take that position. Either 2nd or last is fine with me.
Re: Chapter 5: The Rescue
OOC: OP went good, baby is moving out of ICU and into a normal room today. Looks good so far.
Arven will follow in the rear, it makes more sense since he is the weakest fighter. Shield and mace at the ready with a torch in the shield hand.
OOC; Internet is sporadic at best here in the hospital, have Arven just follow along and use him as needed. I can usually check in every night. Thanks for the understanding. Sorry to put you in a lurch like that.

Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

OOC: Glad to hear it went well.
IC: Timorel takes up his familiar spot as third in line, sword in his right hand, blade resting against his shoulder, and his left ready to cast Sleep or reach over and help swing the blade.
Are you joking!? Your kid just had open heart surgery! You haven't put us out at all, Nekron.Nekron99 wrote:Sorry to put you in a lurch like that.

Re: Chapter 5: The Rescue
According to the previous thread, Brother Arven is down 6 HP, and everyone else is fine. Just a reminder.
Descending the stairs, the adventurers carefully entered the first room. All was as they had last left it, though the smell of troglodyte was prominent in the air.
Then Grumm spied Irena's other slipper, lying on the floor...
Note: The red dot marks the spot.

Re: Chapter 5: The Rescue
The slipper would suggest the southern tunnel. Could be a trick, but Grumm votes for checking it out.

Lead on, Master Grumm.

Timorel nods his assent and follows, looking back regularly to make sure Arven is okay.
