Chapter 4: Regrouping
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Grumm: "I don't know, but I don't like it. You fellas better get home - look after your families. I'll investigate."
Then, walking forward, "Shybolt, Timorel, Arven - open the damned door."

Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Hearing Grumm's voice, Timorel steps forward and opens the door.
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Grumm will walk inside and ask the Timorel what the heck is going on.
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Brother Arven will carefully check the Kitchen and back rooms of the inn. Looking for any clue as to what may have occurred. Keeping in Mind that Arven has read enough mystery and horror novels to know not to turn his back on any unopened dark closets. If needed I will strike a lantern or candle, for light. I have prayed for Flamestrike today...well I did but for some reason I only received my two healing spells. Oh well.

Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Grumm will check the kitchen - especially for the scent of troglodyte. He'll also check the rear door and the area behind the door. He'll also wish he were a ranger, or had one handy.

Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
The crowd outside the inn dispersed, reluctantly, at Grumm's words. Entering the inn, he joined the others in searching the building, but they found no sign of Harald and Irena. Harald's room was so disorganized that they could not tell if he had slept there or not, but in Irena's room they found the bed made up and the room reasonably tidy.
Once he thought about it, Grumm realized there was a faint scent of troglodyte in the air.

Shybolt takes a torch and inspects the floors and walls along the stairs leading to the basement and then the basement itself looking for signs of a struggle or anything else that might tell him anything. He will keep an eye and ear open for uninvited guests.
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Grumm: "I smell troglodyte. It's faint, but I can smell it. We're going to have to go in after them, but I'm not sure we have the muscle. This could be a tough one."
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
"Perhaps I could send word to my bretheren at the monastery? Unfortunatley it would take time for them to get here, which we do not have if these poor souls have been taken captive." Brother Arven says.
