Shybolt will carefully test the floor in front of the door and check the ceiling and walls for anything out of the ordinary. If nothing looks horrifying he will slip up to the door and listen. If he hears nothing, he will wave the party forward then check the door to see if it is locked.

Grumm: "Dorne and I can guard the passages (I'll take the east passage, unless Dorne wants it) while you two (i.e. Shybolt and Timorel) can check out the door. I'd rather not proceed until we clear that door - don't want to be cut off from the exit."

"Every door is the potential entrance to the Treasure room," Shybolt whispers back. "We'll open them all."

Thats fine, Dorne will continue to watch for anything coming up behind us.

Timorel's holding the torch so Shybolt can see and has his sword ready in case something attacks.

Shybolt examined the door carefully, but found no traps. He did notice a scattering of blackened teeth on the floor before the door, which caused him some concern.

Are you going ahead and trying the door, or doing something else?

Is there any staining of the floor as if something was melted/digested there or perhaps some ashes? I'll check the ceiling again to see if there is anything horrifying up there. Is the door stained at all, or just a solid color?

"These teeth give me the willies," He whispers to the others. "I'm not sure I want to be standing in front of the door when it opens. What's the longest weapon we have? maybe we can stand back and push it open? Anyone have other suggestions?"

Shivering, Shybolt looked more closely, but other than half a dozen blackened teeth belonging to some modest-sized humanoid, he saw nothing unusual.

Timorel steps to the right of the door and puts his back to (but not against) the wall. He is still holding the torch for Shybolt.

Grumm: "I have a glaive - I'll push it open - assuming we can push it open."
