If nobody else will help him toss the corpse, Grumm will. He lettered in corpse tossing in high school.

Just curious, the zombie i dragged wouldn't happen to be the body of a dwarf would it?

"No need to get short with me. I'm just not familiar with the corpse-toss test for magic circles. You'd think my old master would have mentioned it to me at some point ... but, then, he was a busy elf ..."

The corpse is human. They all are. The one Shybolt selected appears to be a child of perhaps 10 or 12 years.

Shybolt and Grumm dragged the corpse into the room, and giving it a swing, threw it into the circle. The moment it touched the floor, it disappeared, noiselessly.

"No need to get short with me..." said to a HALFLING. ROFL

"OK, well that was anticlimactic," laughs Shybolt. "Ok, so who's next? It won't be me. Unless someone volunteers we'll just have to see if that body shows up in any of the other rooms we find."

(OOC: Oh well, I was looking forward to some awesome dwarf tossing)

Grumm is sorely tempted to jump in, because Grumm's player loves to zig when it seems he should zag. But for now, he'll be a good little half-orc and stick with the party.

"I wonder if we tied some of those bodies together and tossed one in what would happen?"

Grumm is satisfied that we know leaping into the circle would make us disappear - either sending us someplace we cannot be prepared for, or sending into nothingness. Either way, he'd rather keep going around corners he can see rather into the great unknown.

"Ah, so it is a gate," Timorel muses. "Or, maybe a trap that disintegrates the poor, would-be traveler. Hm."

jstater, should Timorel respond to this as if Grumm had said it, or ignore it (as he can't read Grumm's mind)?

Sorry - respond as though Grumm said it out loud.
