Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Sorting through the slimy fragments of corpse, Timorel and Shybolt find nothing of value. Timorel wonders if he'll ever be able to eat again...

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
"Wedd," Timorel says, holding his nose. "In addy cathe, it'th time to leave thith room."
Before he steps out of the door, he will take a moment to inspect the door frame for any kind of marking, or anything unusual. (He suspects a final trap that would, for example, animate the skeletons when the horn is taken out of the room.) If he finds nothing of the sort, he'll step out into the hall, then take a step to the left to clear the door, and look around.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt will pick out the smallest, lightest zombie, preferably one missing a few heavier body parts, and start dragging it to the west room. "Someone look ahead to make sure I am not dragging into another ambush."
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Grumm will proceed the others out of the room, on watch for enemies (or friends).
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Dorne will cast cure light wounds on himself, then head out with the rest of the party.
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
If nothing happens in the first 10' of movement then Shybolt will start watching up any of the passages he has the angle to look upas he drags the corpse. (hopefully someone is carrying a torch, if not he is attempting to drag with his left hand and holding the torch with his right and probably moving very slowly) If nothing happens by the time he gets to the west door (did we leave it open or is it shut) he will let go of the corpse, listen at the door if shut or peer in if its open. If its open and empty he will ask, "Hey who wants to help me sling this thing in?"

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Dorne's spell was worth 6 HP of healing.
With the others watching out, Shybolt dragged his grisly burden across the passageway-room and through the open door of the room with the strange markings on the floor.
Shybolt's statement now applies... who will help him?

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Timorel follows Shybolt, holding the torch up for light. He stops outside the door to the room. "What do you expect will happen?" he asks.
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
"I expect it will just disappear and we won't know what happened at the other end. or nothing will happen. Or maybe the floor will drop out from under us and we fall onto some very pointy sticks? Do you want to test that circle or not?"
