Per Hyway's post above, Shybolt tells Timorel to close the door. Does he?

No. Timorel walks to the door, weapon out but close to his body, nods to Grumm to be ready, and peeks out into the hall while trying to expose himself to view as little as possible.

EDIT: I mean, he tries not to be seen while peeking out, not that he tries to view as little as possible. In case anyone wondered. :?

Timorel peeked through the door, coming face-to-face with a rotting corpse... which raised its tattered fists to attack. As Timorel drew back to strike at it, he thought he saw several more behind it.

You all have initiative. What will you do? Recall that you are all in one room, while your opponents are in the next room, with an open doorway between.

Timorel yells out "Zombies!"

If it's plausible, he'll slam the door and brace himself against it.

If that isn't plausible, then he'll back into the room (fighting withdrawal) as far as he can to make room for the rest of the party to attack and then assume a full defensive posture (defending under the Combat Options rules).

If Timorel can close the door, Grumm will help him brace it, but he'll say, "We'll have to open it eventually - they can wait an eternity for us."

If not, Grumm will attack with his glaive.

"Damn, Zombies," Shybolt mumbles while he drops his bow and pull his sword and move into melee range.

If Timorel and Grumm manage to shut the door he'll stand prepared and say, "Maybe they'll go away. there's lots of directions including up into the tavern."

If the zombies come through the door, he'll attack the first one coming through the door if there is room. If no room for that one he'll wait until there is room or another comes into the room. He'll call out, "save a piece big enough to throw into that magic portal in the other room."

If the others get the door closed, Dorne will help brace it, if not he will attempt to Turn Undead.

The adventurers got the door shut, and braced themselves against it... but as the undead monsters on the other side began to pound on it, it became obvious to all that it was just a temporary reprieve.

"Well, they seem pretty intent on getting to us, and this door won't hold them for long." Dorne mutters as he braces himself against the door. I'm for getting on with it. I say we go ahead and let them in, hopefully the Gods of Earth and Stone favor me today, and I'll be able to drive them off or at least reduce their numbers, if not we'll just have to kill them, again. :)

shybolt will put his sword away, retrieve the torch and then say, "watch your feet," as he pulls out a flask of oil and readies to spread it out in front of the door. "Might as well torch them as they come through, then we can see them a little better" If he has to, he'll wait until the others move away from the door before spilling out the oil, but he rather have it on the ground first if its possible. he'll then lean against the wall opposite the hinge side of the door and wait with his torch to light it when they come through.
