Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Grumm and Shybolt continued their inspection of the room, finding nothing other than bones, dust, and cobwebs. As they reached the far end, Timorel suddenly spoke.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
"Footsteps," Timorel groans softly. He lurches forward, trying to stand, then collapses back to the ground. "Footsteps. Someone's coming," he says, with more urgency this time. He rolls over, pushes himself off the ground, and stands up shakily. Then he picks up his sword and makes ready.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt hurries to his gear and puts it all back on, jabs the torch into any convenient spot to keep it up and burning and readies his bow. If the footsteps are far enough away he'll advise timorel to shut the door.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
No one else has heard any footsteps. So, does Shybolt still say anything to Timorel?

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Grumm gives the elf a hard look, and then readies himself for battle - just in case. He'll take a position by the door, but hiding to the side (the side not behind the door).
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt will trust first then ridicule later, so yes he still says something.
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Dorne readies himself for battle, shield and hammer in hand.

Due to the holiday, updates will be slow. I don't have time just now to make an update, but maybe tomorrow night.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Quietly, Timorel says, "I don't hear them now, but I would swear something's crept by."
