Chapter 1: The Descent

Dorne will take a quick scan around to make sure nothing else is coming from any nearby niches. He will then examine wounds made by the worm to see if they warrant a cure spell. (I'm not sure if there are actual wounds or not.) Then he will try to make the two as comfortable as possible, while he waits for the paralysis to hopefully wear off.

Shybolt will look over to the Dwarf and ask, "Shall we take them up top for burial, or just carry up their gear and send someone down for their bodies?" He'll sling some worm gut off the end of his dagger and return to slicing the beast open. "You really put a hammering on this little wriggler with that mallet of yours. At least the late Timorel got a viscous cut in before he died."

[Maliki]

"Best not divide thier belongings up quite yet, while I'm sure that one day our companions will meet their gods, it will not be today, the beast merely paralyzed them."

[Hywaywolf]

Shybolt grunts in understanding, and shy's a little further away from the flaccid tentacles.

Guys, I was LATE getting home last night. Hopefully have an update tonight.

[Solomoriah]

Grumm awoke with a bad headache after almost half an hour; fortunately, no monster accosted the party while they waited. Timorel, however, remained unconscious.

What now?

[Hywaywolf]

Shybolt offers Grumm his wineskin, worm goop drops off his arm as he holds it out. "Here, have a slug of this. It'll clear your head." (ooc: I will assume there was nothing in the belly of the worm other than guts)

He then looks over at Timorel and thinks a moment. "Maybe he needs a little more time before he comes out of it. I'll search the rest of these niches. You can use my bow to shoot anything that comes out after me. " Shybolt will then strip out of his pack, take off his bow and quiver, put down his sword, then take the torch and start climbing the wall niches looking into each of them carefully. He will also finish searching the walls/niches for secret doors.

Grumm will take a slug of wine, shake his head a bit and then proceed with checking niches.

"There ya go, get back on that horse that bucked ya."

Dorne will remain with Timorel, but will keep an eye on Shybolt and Grumm, as they search.
