When Timorel gets past Dorne, he'll stop and turn back to the room. When Shybolt jogs up and says:

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt hands the horn to Timorel. Since nothing has happened, and feeling a little foolish for acting like a skittish girl, Shybolt will go back into the room and finish searching it the way a room is supposed to be searched. He'll make a complete circuit paying close attention to the rear wall for secret doors. he will especially be alert for anything that sounds like jangling bones.
"Don't blow that horn or push on any loose pieces, I'm going back in to search this room right." he tells the others. "If any of you tall folks care to look into the higher niches it would be a help."

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Dorne turns to Grumm and says with a smile. "Your taller than me"
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Grumm to Dorne: "Hopefully I'll still be taller than you after I search the room." Grumm will then help Shybolt search the chamber, concentrating on the higher areas he can't reach.

He does look the horn over more closely, but also turns to keep an eye on the corridors. After a few seconds of examining the horn, he puts it in his backpack and turns his full attention on the corridors, looking and listening for anything that might be coming up behind us.

I'm dropping a "hold" in here. I have action planned, but it will be tonight before I get it written.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Grumm and Shybolt began to thoroughly search the room, with Grumm looking in the niches Shybolt couldn't see into. Meanwhile, Timorel continued to study the horn, while Dorne watched the corridor outside.
Suddenly there was a loud thud. Shybolt, Timorel, and Dorne turned around just in time to see a huge white worm with a tentacled face crawling over the prone, still form of Grumm.
Everyone is tied with the monster except for Timorel, who is fast, and Grumm, who is down.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
If he is in melee range, Shybolt stabs into the tentacled 'face' of the worm with his torch. In his left hand he has his dagger.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
At a glance, does Timorel see any other attackers? If so, he'll do something besides the following.
If not, then, if he can, he'll set down the torch and horn, move in, and attack with his 2H sword. He can move 30', so he would prefer to attack from a different direction than Shybolt or Dorne are likely to and with some space between us. The idea is to make the worm choose which of us to attack.
If he has to, he'll toss the horn and torch to the side (instead of setting them down more gently) in order to be able to attack.
EDIT: Is it possible to charge with a 2H sword? (Just curious; Timorel won't even if he can this time.)
