Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Timorel only has 5 HP, so if Dorne uses any of his healing powers on him he'll be at max HP. If not, then by the morning of the third day he'll have 3 HP.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt is completely healed and he has washed the stench from his trousers. He has spent the time thinking over the combat and was wondering if the torch in his off hand gave him any benefit defensively?
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Dorne uses his spells on Grumm and Timorel, so both should be back to full hit points on the morning of the 3rd day. Dorne is still down 3 hit points so would like to wait another day, on the morning of the 4th day Dorne will be at full hit points and have both spell prepared. Since Harald is providing room and board, no need to rush back down until we are at full strength.
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt says that it lets things calm down down there. We'll surprise them this time

Timorel agrees. He needs a some time to wash the blood out of his garments and then dry them, and he probably needs to do a little sewing. Naturally, he will always have a weapon to hand and be facing the door of whatever room he's in, just in case the trogs or whatever else decide to come up.Maliki wrote:Dorne is still down 3 hit points so would like to wait another day, on the morning of the 4th day Dorne will be at full hit points and have both spell prepared.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
On the morning of the fourth day, the adventurers noticed Harald seemed grumpier than usual, but they all felt so much better than none of them cared.
Time to go at it again. Tell me how you plan to proceed.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
On the morning of the 4th day the gallant adventurers all slip down the stairs like last time, same marching order, same careful inspection of the walls, ceiling and steps. Shybolt has a torch and Timorel has a torch. Shybolt in front followed by Grumm, then Timorel and finally Dorne bringing up the rear and watching behind us as often as possible.
When we get to the bottom, Shybolt will listen, look at the walls, ceiling and floor of the room, look for anything that may have changed, then step into the room. First he'll look up the north passage, if its clear we will all then step into the room in a defensive manner ready for another surprise attack. Shybolt will move to listen at that east door and if he hears nothing he will move to the West door with Grumm and Dorne moving to form defensive positions to defend Timorel and Shybolt from anything attacking from the east and south passages. Timorel will watch the North passage and be ready with his sleep spell. Shybolt will then listen at the West door, check it for traps and determine whether or not its locked.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
On the descent, and whenever traveling, Timorel will look back to check on Dorne every few steps. This time, instead of the bow, he'll have his 2H sword out and on his right shoulder, the torch in his left hand. We aren't mapping at the moment.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
The adventurers moved slowly and carefully into the dungeon room, cautious after their near defeat at the hands of the troglodytes; but there seemed to be no danger this time. There was no sign nor sound this time of any humanoids in the corridors. Emboldened, Shybolt listened at the east door, but heard nothing. Moving carefully to the other door, he first checked it for traps, and finding none, listened at it. Again, Shybolt heard nothing. Trying the door, he found it to be stuck.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt turns toward the party and says, "Its not locked, I didn't find any traps and I didn't hear anything on the other side, but the door seems to be stuck so there won't be any gently opening it and seeing whats on the other side. Who wants to force it open?"
Shybolt eill then step back, sheaf his sword and prepare his bow to shoot into the room if anything looks to attack us.
