Out of Character Chat
Re: Out of Character Chat
Kinda a moot point now that we found Harald, but where is the gal?
Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

Are we all still on good terms? Seems the play has slowed down quite a bit.

Re: Out of Character Chat
I've been slow with responses, but I do notice that not everyone is participating the last couple of days.
... don't worry, Brother Arven, I'm sure something will try to sneak up on you sometime...

Though Grumm hovers near death, I'm enjoying myself thoroughly.
Re: Out of Character Chat
I second Grumm and am enjoying the story. Hurricane season prep, wildfire season and just general overall stupid people here in Louisiana trying their best to burn their homes down on a daily basis keeps me busy so the pace is fine.
And no worries....I am not in that big of a rush to have anything sneak up on me. With no healing left and my combat skills at the effectiveness level of a ladybug, I can be happy just quietly guarding the rear.

What? I just thought we were waiting to see what happened with you & Harald.Hywaywolf wrote:Are we all still on good terms? Seems the play has slowed down quite a bit.
Re: Out of Character Chat
I think that we should perhaps wait another day to give the good clerics of the church a chance to arrive so we can have the curse or whatever it is taken care of on Shybolt.
Imagine if we ran into a vampire or some other blood liking critter (skeeters with 3' wingspans, dungeon dwelling piranhas or a Land Shark) and all that blood would cause em to go into a feeding frenzy.
No I think healing our little friend is worth a little wait.
Now we could glue some little horns to his head, give him a rope tail with a little point and let him bleed til he's real pretty and send him ahead he can claim he is an imp from hell and scare all the trogs into running. Come on now, it could work. I bet we can get a pitchfork from the stable in town.

I'm game.
Re: Out of Character Chat
A few random thoughts.
First: Where does the portal go? I know a body was thrown in, but do we want to investigate that further?
Second: What about the horn? We blew it once, had a reaction, but I am not sure if it had any true effect since we were in the statue room with the war going on around us. Did the horn summon the zombies, or did the scene just come alive? Do we dare try it again? Is the horn E-V-I-L?
Third: Do we want to check out the deep pit where the creature was?
Fourth: Well I have no fourth one except to say.........Merry Christmas All! Hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday. Please be careful if you have a live tree, keep it watered and put a smoke detector on the ceiling about 4' away. Watch this vid on youtube to see how fast they can go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_eHBqVYa8A

Re: Out of Character Chat
Always finish a level before going down to the next level is how I play. So lets visit the unexplored passages then go back to the pit. I am not going to step into the portal, so until someone else volunteers there is no reason to return to the portal room.
