Grumm swaggers into the tavern with the others, a haughty look on his ugly face, sneers to those he doesn't like (and those to whom he owes money), winks the ladies. When the others have selected a seat (Grumm is very deferential to those with money and power) he puts his feet up on the table and scans the room, assessing any possible threats or opportunities. He gives the three newcomers a hard stare and launches a wad into a nearby spittoon, scratching his coarse hair.

Maliki wrote:"Things seem to be getting interesting." Dorne whispers to Timorel, as he watches the newcomers.

"Indeed," he says quietly in reply. "So, have you been in town long?"

Shybolt looks at Grumm, "Pardon me, but why did the fellow named Jack ask if the circus was in town when you came in? He's been cracking wise about people ever since I came in, but I can't understand why he would think you were part of a mummers parade."

Grumm - "It's over my head, little man. What's a little fella like you do for a living?"

"Why, sir, when I'm not working as a fuller I make what I can as a leech wrangler." Shybolt rubs the lower regions of his leg, then continues. "What about you, sir. How do you keep yourself in your comforts?"

"Well, Dornell Turnfest is probably my best friend, but its been near 2 years since I lost saw him. Do you know him?" Shybolt rubs his chin, then arches his eyes like he just thought of something. "You say you are a hunter. I did a bit of hunting as well for the master back in Dellfast. can you use some help. I could certainly use some coin." Shybolt turns toward the Reeve, "Do you need some leech's collected. I think my blood has thickened enough since my last foray to collect some more?"

Grumm shrugs and clears his throat. He looks at the others - "You have names?"
