Tannen continues to engage the archer, attempting to slip around his flank so as to have the archer's back to the wagons and any reinforcements coming Tannen's way.

Gannicus will continue his run towards the rotting man and attack if able.

Nivek runs towards Archer 4 and reaches him this round, although he doesn't have time to get in a swing with his mace.

Paladin moves into a position where he can get a shot at Archer 4 with his short bow [modified "to hit" roll: 25 (natural 20) - roll again for critical: 25 (natural 20 again - blimey!) for a total of 6 damage]. The arrow goes straight through the ambusher's heart and he drops dead instantly.

Tannen takes another swipe at Archer 1 with his longsword [modified "to hit" roll: 21 - hit! for 8 damage]. The final archer falls.

Mandross hops on to Shaw's wagon and tends to Doughbert's wound, stopping the bleeding and stabilising the halfling.

Gannicus continues to run towards Leo and the Rotting Man. He should reach them next round.

With his foe slain by Tannen, Benoni changes tack and plods towards Paladin.

Leo concludes the round, attacking the Rotting Man with his spear [modified "to hit" roll: 9 - miss].

Paladin will scamper up the side of the cart like some sort of deranged gibbon and take a look for more enemies from this higher vantage. He'll also address Shaw. If you are moving something we should know about, now is the time to mention it, Mr Wait-for-guards-for-a-two-day-trip-on-a-major-road.

Benoni pants as he tries to catch up with Paladin.

Tannen withdraws back to Wagon 4, his eyes on the scrub for more archers. If the rotting man is still up and fighting by the time Tannen gets to Wagon 4, he'll get the driver to move the wagon towards the front of the column at full speed!
