Season 1 - Episode 6: The Bandit Caves

Paladin eyes Alma's hands appraisingly. He also gestures the elves to go get dressed.

Hiker guards Miss Alma and glares at the halfling, "She's been through enough Mr Half-man!"

Paladin thinks to himself that the other folk he heard through the third door are deaf.

Doughbert frowns at the contents seeing that its only gear belonging to the folks we just freed. No loot or heal pots. He'll get the talkative prisoner's attention on the chest then he'll go check the other door again. Kisten, check it for traps, see if its locked, unlock with a key or pick if neccessary then crack it open.

Doughbert goes through his usual listen-check-open routine on the door in the south wall of the cave: all is quiet, the door doesn't appear to be trapped, and the halfling finds it to be unlocked. The room beyond contains a bed, a small table, and an unlit oil lamp. There are a few personal effects on the table including a hair brush, a quill and parchment, and an empty wooden cup. However, there's nothing of value that Doughbert can see from a cursory glance.

Back at the intersection, the elf Rerion suddenly spins around and looks northwards up the tunnel towards the direction the party came from. "Voices," he whispers "someone's coming."

Tannen, Hiker and Paladin freeze for a moment and strain to see if they can also here the noise [rolls], but the elf's ears must be keener than theirs.

Karl: HP -2/8 (stabilised).

Tannen takes up a position on the west side of the intersection. Using the corner as cover, he'll train his crossbow up the northern corridor. "Get the others out here, now!" Tannen hisses to Paladin, I'll cover the approach. "Alma, stay behind Hiker and me."

If the elves seem in any doubt as to how to proceed, Tannen will motion for them to take up positions on the east side of the intersection, ready to fire (assuming their leader retrieves their bows) up the north corridor.

If doughbert gets the word, and if he still has the crossbow (not sure if anyone borrowed it), he will make himself ready to shoot at the intruders (haha) when they show themselves. If he cant get a shot from there he will move to a place where he can get a shot, but still not be front line. he will use his bow if the crossbow was taken by someone else.

Nivek moves to position where he can guard our weakened members (including Alma). A short prayer for the Forge Lord's blessings is produced as he readies his mace and shield for action. "Make haste with your preparations," he exclaims toward the elves.

Coming back up the short hall, Mandross looks at everyone, looks North, then looks at the door to the South. He tucks his hat and stick away, and steps back out of the intersection, Peeking out and checking North and South.

He draws one of his daggers, and mentally "warms up" the Sleep spell.

OOC: I'm not totally clear on which north corridor you mean. Do you mean the corridor from the north leading directly to the fourway intersection with the three doors or the corridor from the north that leads past the stables?
