Not that it would have helped, but Doughbert should have a +4 ranging these dudes. ab +1, racial +1, dexterity +1, short range +1

Don't worry - I only use the app to store each character's "permanent" modifiers - attack bonus, attribute bonuses and racial modifiers. It just saves me having to look them up each time. Situational modifiers (range, cover, etc.) are applied on top of that. If you check back in the game thread and compare it to the app screenshot, you'll see that Doughbert was credited with his short range bonus.
