Season 2 Ready Check

Post Mon Jan 02, 2012 9:26 am

OK, I'm more or less ready to start Season 2 whenever you are.

Please can you check that your character sheets are fully up to date, particularly with respect to money, equipment and encumbrance.

Once you're good to go, please post here; when everyone's ready we'll make a start.

Just one cautionary note from me: I'm about to start a new job which is likely to be more demanding and time consuming than my previous one. Therefore, it's quite likely that my post-rate will drop. Please don't take this as any lack of interest in the game on my part (on the contrary); it's simply down to time pressures. I still hope to be able to make at least 2-3 major posts per week, so things should keep moving albeit at a slightly slower rate.

Although Nivek acts as if going out again is just another interruption of his meditative anvil-work, in reality he delights in the chance to smite enemies in the Forge Lord's name.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Just let me know how much Mandross spent on upkeep.

Oh, and some new kerchiefs. His old ones were covered in Doughbert juice.

Between Adventure Living Costs

Between adventure living costs come to 14 gp for each character (except Paladin, whose retainer and lifestyle mean his living costs come to 42 gp). Everyone, please update your money totals accordingly.

Did Tannen need his upkeep covered?

I am getting my character sheet updated right now but I am confused on how we decide on our xp level as it pertains to spending money. Do we actually have to find a trainer or do we just recklessly spend like drunken paladins and the money spent is how many xp we get?

I wasn't around when swirler chose his orisons. Did he only get the choice to learn 2 orisons because thats all his die roll allowed? And since I am choosing to continue playing doughbert, would it be possible for me to switch the Guidance* (+/-1 next attack) orison for the Meal Blessing orison? I intend to spend a lot of time in devout worship of master loche (pick some pockets, do a little B&E, hide in shadows listening for rumors and leads to the other badit hideouts/activities, following random people for practice, etc) during this interlude so maybe he will grant me that change.
