Ok, maybe the rest of the party should grab the goblin spellcaster and follow Tannen out of the caves?
Nivek could interrogate it and learn more about Alma's whereabouts. We don't know for certain she's here or even if these goblins took her. If they do hold her, perhaps the goblin can be traded for her release or at least give us information about the further defenses and layout of the caves and tunnels ahead...

I was just browsing the Character Roster thread and realised that Doughbert has two unused 0-level spells. Do you think he'd volunteer to use one each on Nivek and Tannen before we progress further into the caves to take on the remaining goblins. (Assuming that's what we're going to do of course!)

Nice. Hopefully we find a replacement for Doughbert/Swirler quickly.

Everyone, Doughbert has a new alter-ego: forum regular Hywaywolf will be taking him over. Welcome to the game!

Ahem.
Welcome back Hywaywolf!

We need a tactical advantage over any remaining goblins.
We should try and lure a few goblins from the NE tunnel back out into the main long corridor and ambush them from both sides. Perhaps Nivek could use his Goblin-speak to yell for help with some meanial task. Maybe that'd get just a couple of goblins sent out again, dividing their numbers.
We also might need to scout the S and NE corridors a little further - Paladin and/or Dougbert could do this with the rest of us standing back with the torches to cast just minimal light down the corridors.

Glad to be part of the game. Thanks for the welcome.
I just noticed on doughberts character sheet that he is against outright cruelty, but I don't know if he means that he is against cruelty when in the process of thieving. Or if he meant that in general. Or whether or not he deems goblins worthy of such considerations.

I can tell you Nivek does not mind... at least against Goblins. Filthy vermin.

Well, he's your character now, so I guess you get to decide! There are no real precedents from the game so far.
