- the missing Druid's house is in decent condition. With closed heavy double doors.
- the other houses are collapsed and have been for quite a while.
- the ruined tables and food are more recently ruined than the houses, or the same (roughly, of course)?
- the presence of skeletons implies either the battle happened long ago, or it was a recent battle with undead participants. Any hints as to which?
- the giant insect wing is very recent. Will check whether cut or torn when given a chance.

Also, for the overall setting, is this, "there can be good goblins or bad goblins, but bad ones are more common", or is it, "goblins be bad; kill on sight to save everyone"?
Well the druid hasn't been around for a while so I wouldn't say its heavy doors are recent in condition and neither too old as well. The house itself just has not gone under cleaning for it to look visiting.

The houses close to Oldwin's house themselves and whatever items were there are old and much of it is not recently been like that. A small firefight happened long ago, as none of the corpses are controlled or cursed. Basically no undead skeletons are around the forest areas and necromancer hasn't brought them back alive.

Lastly, good goblins are rare and much of them have their own intentions on doing harm and whatever they do. Much of their cousins obviously will consider doing the same if encountered.

Thanks! I just like to make sure rather than run with assumptions.

So I suppose it depends on how close we are to the goblins as to whether or not I can attempt to use my sling. I would be hitting with a range penalty of -2 at 90'. Seeing as they have yet to notice us then I would assume we are outside that range. So it is up to the party as to how we will act

I thought we were closer. If we are too far away, then we should move forward (while Grimlar waits) until we can fire or they see us, then fire and let Grimlar charge.

I mean, sure, in theory, if we both hit and do good enough damage, we could kill the two goblins before Grimlar even gets a chance. But I figure with two first levels, that isn't going to happen. I figure if we just damage one to make things easier on Grimlar, we succeeded in the attempt.

BTW, since we are getting close to needing to roll, I figure we can do one of two things:
1) Just let the GM roll the dice and they can fall where they may. This is the easiest option.
2) An internet friend has an online dice roller that we can use. The cool part is that you can also specify an email address, and it will simultaneously show both the results and email the results. (Presumably to the GM.) We can do that, too.

For the record, if he's good with that, I'm all for the easiest option.
