Well the druid hasn't been around for a while so I wouldn't say its heavy doors are recent in condition and neither too old as well. The house itself just has not gone under cleaning for it to look visiting.daryen wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 10:06 am Sorry for being dense, but just to be clear:
- the missing Druid's house is in decent condition. With closed heavy double doors.
- the other houses are collapsed and have been for quite a while.
- the ruined tables and food are more recently ruined than the houses, or the same (roughly, of course)?
- the presence of skeletons implies either the battle happened long ago, or it was a recent battle with undead participants. Any hints as to which?
- the giant insect wing is very recent. Will check whether cut or torn when given a chance.
Also, for the overall setting, is this, "there can be good goblins or bad goblins, but bad ones are more common", or is it, "goblins be bad; kill on sight to save everyone"?
The houses close to Oldwin's house themselves and whatever items were there are old and much of it is not recently been like that. A small firefight happened long ago, as none of the corpses are controlled or cursed. Basically no undead skeletons are around the forest areas and necromancer hasn't brought them back alive.
Lastly, good goblins are rare and much of them have their own intentions on doing harm and whatever they do. Much of their cousins obviously will consider doing the same if encountered.
