Rudolfo and his entourage cross the street and enter the temple, your party takes a place in the pews and for what seems like hours the clerics and acolytes assail your senses with fiery orations until the high priest arrives on stage.

He is a lot quieter than the others but his homily focuses on the evils of slavery and how all men have the rights to be free.

You think to yourself, yea if they live in Slateholm. But not in Ravenstone.

Your group has come alert when this talk begins and "Rudolfo" nods his head, "Remember this one, we need to know more about him. Let us head to the shop, I believe it is almost time, near dark and the other two should be finished their business."

Following the directions from the paper Gombuk gave you, finding the shop was easy, as you stand behind the shop in the back alley, you tell yourself it's time to go to work.

Zero does a once over of the alley and attempts to catch a glance of Benn and Vrak.

You realize you have plenty of time before "Rudolfo" and party come here from the temple.

Kurgan decides to enter the shop to have a look around through the back door.

Code: Select all

Usually, you'll want to listen at doors and check for traps before entering. Anyone can do it, but thieves are specialist and get better rolls.
Listen at doors: [1d6] = 4
Check for traps: [1d6] = 5

You find nothing and hear nothing but the door is locked. You don't own any thieves tools and aren't trained to use them, so you have to talk to Benn and Vrak. Maybe they can get it open.

As Gombuk and entourage approach the shop, he eagerly scans the area for Vrak and Benn waiting for their assessment of the area.

Tam scans the shadows in the vicinity of the shop.
"If they are not here, where is the nearest tavern?"

"Rudolfo", "There is one across the street, you can go there while I wait for theses gentlemen."
