Simon, breathing heavily, wades into the river, first retrieving the revolver, then dragging the man up onto the river bank (if he is unconscious). Simon will search the man, relieving him of the gun belt/ammo and any documentation the man may have. Then he will wait until the man comes to or until one side or the other shows up here. If its the Germans, then Simon will slip back into the forest and return to the village. If its the Morgana's people then he will get help carrying the man back and covering him as well in case he wakes up.
If he is conscious, Simon will retrieve the revolver, step back out of reach and aim it at the German. Simon will indicate to the man to come ashore, drop the gunbelt then walk upstream. Simon will then pick up the gun belt/ammo. Then he'll point up river to encourage the man to start walking back toward the village.

The warrior nodded, saying something that sounded affirmative, and turned and jogged into the village.
crazycrypt didn't read rredmond's post above before posting, so I'm going to ask him to repost.

OCC: Sorry about that, don't know how I missed it, lol.
Tommy will look at Will as the warrior was running away. "Might as well follow him I guess, don't know what good it is going to do us without Artie though." Tommy will then follow Will to Kordal, if that is where the warrior is leading us.

OOC: Catherine had some success talking with the natives.
EDIT: Solo, is it okay for me to insert factual comments such as these when I am not present? It seems like the kidn of thing the PCs would remember, and I would never interject OOC to offer suggestions that they would not reasonably think of.

Tommy and Will found Kordal, Safiya, and Pandu in conference with the warrior in front of Kordal's hut; their faces looked worried in the firelight.

At first, Simon didn't think he was going to find the pistol, which the sailor had dropped in the river as he fell; but then Simon kicked something hard, and discovered it was the Luger.
Note: The gun is not a revolver; Luger P08's are semi-automatic.
Hywaywolf wrote:Simon will search the man, relieving him of the gun belt/ammo and any documentation the man may have. Then he will wait until the man comes to or until one side or the other shows up here.
It didn't take long for the sailor to recover, but by then Simon had the gun, the ammo belt, and the man's papers. Though Simon couldn't read German, it appeared his name was Leon Mueller.

The German sailor climbed slowly to his feet, and with a sullen expression on his face (visible even in the moonlight), followed Simon's directions.
Simon was uncertain which way to go to get back to the village, but he decided, since the German was going downstream, the village was probably upstream; so that was the way he instructed his prisoner to proceed.

ooc. I knew from being in the village earlier that the river would be on my left when I was walking downstream and, unless I had crossed the river while unconscious (doubtless since I was under the morgana when I woke up, that the river was on my left as I tracked the injured man downstream so the village had to be back upstream.
As far as IC actions all I can do is follow the man upriver till something else happens.

Simon, lost, could have bypassed the village and reached the river upstream; remember, rivers wind around a lot on flat land. I speak from experience...

ooc, simon was assuming this was one of the injured rubber boatmen who went into teh marsh downstream of the village, but he could have assumed wrong since these dang germans are spread out like ants already
. I too speak from experience since I spend a lot of time backpacking in the woods and agree that it really easy to get turned around in the woods.

Will takes a deep breath, then tries his darndest to let them know that there are "sea devils" in the area (they're worse than Suran, and whether the Nazi's are sea devils or not, they should be considered threats of that level). Hopefully Will caught enough of the little girl's story and Artie's translation to know their word for sea devil.
Very slowly and carefully he will, using their names, try to make them understand that "Artie Evans" and "Simon Lars" are missing. He'll use lots of concerned looks and hand gestures here, cursing inwardly not having Catherine or Artie nearby. He'll also use some simple English during this explanation hoping that Kordal has someone quicker at picking up our language than Will is at theres.
If he can get all that across, while they are discussing things amongst themselves, Will checks on the ammo in both his guns and sees which one feels better as a primary weapon for him. He'll look at Tommy and say "you got two already, if I'm shooting it'll only be with this one" whichever felt better, "if you can use another..." he'll offer the second gun. If Tommy's already got two (or more

) then Will returns the secondary weapon, safety on, back into the rear of his belt.

After a few frustrating minutes trying to get the point across, Kordal said "Bey?" His face turned to a frown, and he quickly barked orders to the warrior, who immediately ran off and began rousing warriors from their huts.

The second weapon is Steve Vance's gun, correct? It's a Colt M1911A1, with the standard 7 round magazine. Steve didn't get a chance to fire it, so it has the full load of ammo. As to the Luger P08 you were carrying, it has an 8 round magazine, and I'll leave it to you to figure out how much ammo you still have.
