Hey all, just wanted to share an update. My wife is free from doctors and hospitals. It was touch and go for a while (first series of drugs weren't just ineffective, they made things worse), but though not out of the woods, we're taking steps closer to the sunlight.
Both of us had a bad scare, but I think, overall, we're going to make it! Sorry about my absence. February has not been a good month!

Be well Ros, and I'll say some prayers for the continued good health of the missus. Had some funky medical stuff go on a few months back myself. Sucks. Luckily games are just that, games, and for fun!

Presently holding for Rosisha. No hurry, though.

Oops, I have to check. Thought I was good. I'll go back and reread...

Guys, I'm getting the feeling your interest is failing. I'll take responsibility for that... this "short" campaign somehow mutated into an epic in my mind. But what I'm seeing is less and less interaction in the chapter threads. I've left Chapter 7 standing waiting for someone to answer Artie for a few days now, with nothing; I could step in, in the guise of one of the NPCs, but since he addressed Will directly I held back.
I'm not faulting anyone. It's been an excellent experiment. I'm willing to go on, if you guys are; but if you'd like to let it drop, I understand.

I'm guessing it doesn't seem that way, but I'm in. I've been checking and posting, but I admit to getting lost a bit.
There are three questions out there from me and Nazim:
1. Who, from the airship, is down on the surface at this point? Are there seven of us? I think I didn't write down an NPC who is with us.
2. How many sky gods were there?
3. What were the number of animals on the totem?
I don't mind the epic-ness with what's going on, and I enjoy this TSGS adventure, it's unlike anything I've ever done. But with things that have been going on with me in RL I admit to being not as attentive!

or actually
Let me know if I am holding things up and how to rectify. I'd prefer that Will continue the game. I'll go see about answering Artie...

There are seven on the surface; besides the PCs, Reginald Monday, Catherine Burton, and Steve Vance.
rredmond wrote:2. How many sky gods were there?
There were seven dancers representing the sky gods in their first appearance. The young one, called Bey, was an eighth.
rredmond wrote:3. What were the number of animals on the totem?
Seven levels, two per level, is fourteen.

Understood.

I'm in, with the qualifier that Ron mentioned. I too was slightly lost. But it's nothing bad. I think it's part of the situation, actually. And the post above clarifies some details.
Where is the gate mentioned? Was it in the translation?

FYI I definitely get notifications from this thread, and if it isn't too much of a PITA, I don't mind the slap-to-the-back-of-the-head reminders that I owe a post!
