It's 1936. Proper women don't room with men they aren't married to. Thus, some passengers (those who can't afford to reserve the whole room) are expected to share. Catherine and Lily are bunking together, as are Dr. Burton and... Will Thornton.

So if you find some meaning in Catherine and Lily being in the same room...
Doing nothing but trying to dash Mak's hopes and dreams! :D

Solomoriah wrote:Also, if anyone is interested... I've rolled dice four times in chapter 1. Every time involved Simon Lars, and he only failed once. I'm curious... can you guys figure out when I rolled, and for what reasons?
I was wondering about what rolling might have been going on behind the scenes. I thought maybe Artie had to make a roll when the totem was humming at him.

As for that Lars fellow... I'm surprised he hasn't rigged the whole ship to blow six ways from Sunday by now! :D

"Oh, my boy, these things are of incalculable scientific value, make no mistake!" cried Dr. Burton. "Later I'll show you the sacrificial knife we discovered in the chamber with the Totem. It's quite interesting."

"Will you bring the Totem up for another look, then?" asked Michael Lloyd.

"Yes, I can do that," replied Dr. Burton.
Oh, great. Why can't they just let Artie play in peace? ;)

I wonder who on board will be first to succumb to the idol's hypnotic chanting and attempt to aerate a fellow passenger with the sacrificial knife.... :o

Sick kids in bed, I'm totally wiped out but was able to get back on!

Have no clue what's going on (but eyes-open for a stowaway!! :) ) and never played this type of rpg before, but I'm really loving this game.

Tis the season for sick kids. but it's good to work in a call center when the phones go out. Got all my clinicians reviewing admission and continued-stay plans that'll get us ahead, and frees me to check out this game and Dragonsfoot for a little while anyway.

Well, I made my first significant boo-boo. It was my fault, initially, that Mansel spent his sleep watch in the wrong room. I don't want to rewrite history if I can avoid it, though, and as crazycrypt didn't catch it either, I get to blame it on the character.

If you catch me in a mistake, and notify me right away, I'll revise my post; but if you let it ride, it stays in the story unless I just can't work around it. I hate to retcon.

I really wasn't sure which room I was suppose to be staying in so I just picked one, lol. I now know for the next shift rest.

After finding out the words that open the Mondabe Lemarchand Box ("Time to Play!" :D ) and what's up with Artie hearing voices... or in between, Will is going to want to break Dr. Ringstrom out of his reverie to ask, concernedly of course ;) , about his abrupt departure at lunch.

I know Will's already in the thick of goings-on, and maybe can't do all this right now, so I'd figure I'd float it here first. Let me know if, or when, I can put it in the Chapter thread.

Thanks Solo!
