Hah, lot you know, it's a complete takeover!! (I guess, what do you call it when one company's contract ends and another picks it right up... ah well, I'm a Social Worker not a business man!)

Will can't talk, he's sleeping!

Okay, need to review the list of non-information the GM has given me :D! But I wanted to say, nice new sig line there CrazyC!

Also, I gave notice yesterday, huzzah! New job starts on 1/11. Current agency has been fined twice, for not meeting contractual obligations, is on TWO Corrective Action Plans (one from the State (our customer) and one from our parent company), we are only vouchering 70% of our fee (because our "innovative MIS system" doesn't work!!) and to top it all off a new, Republican, governor is on his way in. Not hating on the Republicans (I'm an independent mainly because I feel it's hard to find an honest politician) but the Republicans seemed to have more of a penchant to be financially tougher on social services... my current company will be one heck of a ripe target at this point! :) I'm leaving at the perfect time.

Happy New Year everyone!

Thanks Rredmond, I was bored one day and thought it would be cool to make something like that for me to post up with for the game, so I opened up my graphic program and ended up with this, lol.

Good luck in your new job, I hope you really enjoy it.

I'm actually getting more and more excited for it. Plus I'm doing some editing for Usherwood publishing at this point and putting together a DF collaborative dungeon. Too often I allow myself to be defined by my work, lately it hasn't been good.

Also, if I disappear for a few days, just NPC me please (or Nazim could run Will for a bit, give him something to do :) ) I am only a couple days from ending this job - and soon could lose the work laptop! :( And then there'll be training at my other job... I'll try to keep up on my wife's hideously slow laptop, but we'll see how it all works out.

Sorry, shouldn't be for more than a couple of days, not sure when it'll start but definitely this weekend to the middle of next week. Be well fellows!

Chapter 10

OOC: Whoa. Gonna have to think about this next bit, now... Bonus no-prize points to Nazim for boggling the GM.

Sorry, it's a bad habit. But it made sense. At least to me...

For what it's worth, what I do in these situations, in those rare occasions I DM, is (mentally) assign arbitrary reactions to a table, and roll up a result. For example, d6, 1-3 he sees the point and comes around, 4-6 he thinks it's a trick, and advises the captain of as much.

Nazim, I moved our posts here to clean up the thread.

Hey, Solo. You still thinking about this?

Partly. The other part is, I'm hoping for someone to volunteer to take over Simon Lars.

I'm really stunned that nobody seems to have any strategy to propose to the Captain.

Ack, good point.
I'll have to re-read... sorry.
