Faylen entered the room, with Bothan close behind. Though they both half expected a trap of some sort, nothing in particular happened to them.

Faylen inhales sharply, than takes a moment to scan the room from just inside the door.
Are there any signs of the inhabitants or an exit from the room?

Faylen looked around, but saw nothing beyond what she had already seen.

Faylen will move slowly to J6, then along the east wall to J4.
She will carefully check the floor before every step.
Once she reaches the east wall, she will also look for secret doors or other peculiarities.

Rowan will stay outside the door but entirely focused on what happens inside the room, ready to rush in an impale any kobolds that might appear.

Bothan will help Faylen checking for secret doors.

Bothan and Faylen searched the east wall for secret doors, traps, and other tomfoolery, but found nothing; in the half hour that search required, the others maintained guard, tensed against the possibility of assault from the darkness.

"They were in here. They left. How?"
Faylen bites her lip and continues to investigate the north wall, especially the part separating it from the other room on the map.

OOC: are the walls made of bricks or natural rock or a mixture of both?

"Himham and Blizzblazz! What is taking so long? They've taken all the time in the world, and twice that," muttered the dwarf Ranald to himself.

He set about searching the odd shaped section of the room where he was hidden (the walls around G2) while he waited.

(Crossbow down, sword to hand).

Faylen continued searching along the north wall, and was relieved to finally discover a secret door in the brick-faced wall. It appeared easy to open, and obviously connected to the other room which the adventurers had spiked closed earlier.

Faylne whistles, then whispers excitedly to the others:
"There's a passage here back to the other room!"

Rowan moves to the secret door, spear in hand.
