1st Chapter: The Adventure Begins
Re: 1st Chapter: At the Blind Medusa
Bothan will go into the bush, poking everything with his pike before advancing further.
"Watch my back, guys !"

Re: 1st Chapter: At the Blind Medusa
of, course. Though logic would suggest at least some of us watch the bush as well. says Tertullian.

Pushing the damp branches aside, Bothan moved forward, and almost immediately he saw the blade of a shovel lying on the ground before him. Before he could reach for it, though, it was jerked away from him deeper into the bushes.

Re: 1st Chapter: At the Blind Medusa
It seems that whatever broke the shovel is intent on keeping it. Or else it is a trap with strange bait. Faylen says with obvious curiosity
Rowan has moved up with Hengist
Either way I vote we leave it be. No sense in making something mad if there is no benefit.

Re: 1st Chapter: At the Blind Medusa
I agree with Rowan, says Hengist quietly. This muddy dell was not the place on the innkeeper's map. This seems like a trap, or some strange forest creature, playing a game.
Nonetheless he kept his halberd in place, and covered Bothan, and anyone else who wished to step up and investigate.

Nerien and Tertullian both vocalize their agreement.

As long as your characters are talking to each other, I'm not involved... unless something jumps out of the bushes, of course. You have to say you are taking action before I come in.

"That really looks like a trap of some sort, I would prefer to leave it alone and leave as soon as possible."
Re: 1st Chapter: At the Blind Medusa
I'm going to call this....7/8 characters seem to want to leave it alone.
The party retreated from the bushes and made their way out of the hollow, and continued towards the place indicated on the innkeeper's map.
While they walked, Henigist asked the elf if he could make a quick copy of the map. After all, it had been drawn in charcoal, on a rag. And it was raining.

Faylen gives a look of slight suspicion, but replies: Of course. No sense in losing our way to some rain.
