Oh. I see now. Sorry about that. I'll have to decline then - I don't think I have time to learn new system right now. Too bad because it sounds fun. Sorry again.Solomoriah wrote:Iron Falcon has no expansions. I think you are thinking of Basic Fantasy RPG.

Re: Iron Falcon PbP
Sorry about that.
So I guess we're waiting for one more player.
If you who have already spoken up want to go ahead and get started on your characters, feel free to post them here. I'll split them out when I spin up the new forum.

I am really excited for this game!
Re: Iron Falcon PbP
By the way Solo, can we trade stat points (rulebook page 4) ?
Do you roll for spells or we do it ? (I'll play a M-U with INT 16, human)
By the way, I found a typo in R50, helmet have a AC of 3 in the table (page 12).

Yes.mTeasdale wrote:By the way Solo, can we trade stat points (rulebook page 4) ?
I'll do it. I'll let you know what your first level list is tomorrow.mTeasdale wrote:Do you roll for spells or we do it ? (I'll play a M-U with INT 16, human)
Why wouldn't they?mTeasdale wrote:By the way, I found a typo in R50, helmet have a AC of 3 in the table (page 12).
The AC of a helmet only applies to attacks directed against your head. A full helmet is better protection than the coif that comes with your chainmail; some chainmail wearers choose a helmet just for that reason.

Re: Iron Falcon PbP
Str was a +1 to hit. Was that not the correct place for that?

Re: Iron Falcon PbP
AH. I see what you are doing.
Classic games like Iron Falcon (games with descending AC) don't have a "base attack bonus." You normally record the bonus to hit in melee after the Str score, and the "Reaction/Attacking Bonus" after the Dex score (the bonus which applies in missile combat).
If you were playing at the table with me, you'd want to have your attack table on your sheet, but since I'll be making all die rolls, you don't need to bother.
I actually foresee myself creating command line scripts to do this stuff on my home system.
