I have never participated in a play by post game, but would love to try it out. Where would I find these stat tables?

I will take scores 5 and 7. 5 Will be a half-ling fighter, and 7 a human cleric.

I would be interested in playing, probably with score rows 2 & 3, playing a M-U and his kinda dumb bodyguard.

Solo, are you looking to do a PbP with deep background/story or a more story-light game ?

Deep backgrounds are a waste of time in IF... mortality rate is too high.

Here's the background for the last character I ran in a game like this:

"I'm Moziah, son of Josah, son of Jorah, of the Hill People, and this is my axe."

... almost too much depth at that. :D

Count me in then !

I'm not much into games where every character has two pages of background with links with every NPCs from the village.

Very good.

Two down, two to go...

I'm in! I'll have 4 (a smart fighter) and 1 (a thief or a cleric maybe).

I think that leaves 6 and 8 to player 4.

I'm interested. Are any of the optional expansions available? I.e., could I play a Barbarian (in lieu of a Fighter) and a Druid? Or did you mean core rules only when you said 'by the book'?

Iron Falcon has no expansions. I think you are thinking of Basic Fantasy RPG.

I haven't filled out the options sheet for this game, but I will tell you I'm using the Expanded Spell Lists option, and not (at the moment) allowing Paladins.
