Sonja - you said you were in I14 and then stepped back twice, putting you in I16. (Farhan was therefore in J12 when he threw the stars at you. My mistake.)

NEXT ROUND! Jaali, you're up, then Kanya, who clearly wants to kill you.

I'll do the same as before unless I believe Fahran is coming back. Grab vial, run up stairs, confront Kanya.

If Jaali gets the initiative, he will shoot at Kanya snd retreat down the stairs, getting out of her sight if possible.

You can't shoot and then move. Read the core combat rules in the rules thread.

How far is Kanya from Jaali ? If possible, I'll reatreat back to be out of her charge range and shoot at her.

Edit : looks like I'm 15' away from here, which means that by moving 30' I would be out of charge range. If I can see her at that distance, I'll do that.

You are in a concrete cube, 30 wide. The hatch is at the center. Kanya is standing in the only doorway.

You can't retreat 30' from her unless you go down the stairs.

If you want to go 15'back to the other side of the cube and then shoot, you can do that.

My plan is to get back down the stairs, hoping Kanya wilk follow me, so I can get back woth Sonja. Also, I may be able to hide down there, which I won't be able to do outside.

Sonja, you make it to I07 and now have the light in your hand.

Jaali - you move down the stairs at 30. You can't run down them. There isn't actually enough light. You move pretty quietly. You are now in I01, the second landing. You can see some light flickering from down below, probably Sonja. You do not think the other pirate Farhan had a light source.

You can hear Kanya moving about upstairs. She does not follow you down below. You do not know what she is doing.

You may both declare your actions for the new round.

Sonja will move to the base of the stairs, all while keeping an eye out for Fahran down here and Kanya upstairs.

Jaali will get up in the stairs, trying to walk silently in the shadows, trying not to be seen by Kanya or anyone else that could be outside (I know there isn't, but Jaali doesn't).
