Can Jaali have enough time in a round to get his pistol out, get to the stairs and shoot Apinya ? If so, he will do that.

Jaali - no, I'd say in this case you can't do that. Switching weapons isn't strictly an action in this system, but you are running blind up a twisting stairwell, so I will rule you cannot. You can attack him with your cutlass if you chase him right now, but not with your pistol. Up to you...

By the way - the stairs are no longer in darkness. Kanya may have taken the rope with her.

Sonja - the tall fellow with the curly hair (whose name is Farhan, btw) has sneaked down the right hand corridor and then moved his way through the two rows of apes in the center of the hall. He tried to surprise you with his shuriken attack but failed, because he blew his 'hide' roll and you saw him coming and you were not surprised.

He is 30 away, which means he is in J16, the square marked "hall of the apes". He is within the light radius. You can try to take a shot, but you don't know his position in initiative.

Upstairs - round 3 has occurred. You don't know what the evil cleric Kanya Jayde has done.

How does the name matter? Am I about to kill an inbound PC, or is he wearing a nametag?

I'll take a 10' step back and fire two arrows at him (unless he charges, in which case I'll try something else)

Following Apynia in the stairs to kill him it will be then.

Jaali runs up the stairs, he swings at Apinya to deal the killing blow, but misses.

Sonja is tied for initiative with Farhan. She fires twice at him and hits once doing the minimum 4 hit points. The other arrow sticks into a monkey.

Farhan retreats back into the right hand passage and moves away, Sonja hears him running.

Apinya attempts to shove Jaali back down the stairs. Jaali beats him in the strength contest and so this does not work. Apinya screams for Kanja Jayde's assistance again.

Round 4 - go for it.

Jaali will try again to stab Apynia. And will hit this time

Is Farhan human or demi-? If Sonja would think he/it has infravision, let me know because I might change my actions.

Sonja will run after Jaali, full speed. She'll grab the vial on the way.

He looks human, Persian in fact. He wouldn't normally have infravision. But he seemed to walk down a very dark corridor,with no trouble.

You going to change your action?

Jaali - you miss Apinya again. Phew. This guy is really living a charmed life with his last three hit points.

Apinya makes a withdrawal action, half his move.

Kanya Jayde arrives in the cube, puffing under the ridiculous weight of her banded mail. She is now about 15 feet from you, and is now standing next to Apinya in the cube doorway.

I need to know Sonja's action down below before we go onto the new round. If you run, you will move 60 feet. Picking up the light will cost you an action (30 feet of your move).

Jaali will get his pistol out to shoot at Apinya. If he finally manage to kill him he will move his pistol towards Kanya and then tell her : "Don't do anything stupid and drop your weapon. You don't need to die today."

OK - I just want to make sure Sonja is caught up and then we'll move on to the new round. Sonja can I have actions for the current round, and an idea of your actions new round please?

Sonja will grab the light, mainly because it'd be a mess for her to climb stairs in the dark. Once she picks up the vial -- and assuming Fahran keeps running away -- she will race upstairs with a plan to shoot whatever pirate is menacing her.
