Jaali backs up and try to get a handful of dust that was on the floor, to throw at the creature on the next round.

Jaali's "backing up" sounds like a withdraw action, which takes him about 20 feet back, to gather dust.
Saracen misses, and so does the monk. You don't even connect. It hits the monk for 8 hit points of damage.
Round 2:
The creature, the monk and the elf all tie for initiative on 7. Jaali acts close behind. The creature hits the elf for 7 hit points.
Kanja and Maju may act as well, later in the round. Kanya is at the stop of the stairs, Maju the bottom.
Your go.

YC will rush at the invisible antagonist and then shut the door.
OK, but if you miss, you might not get past the antagonist and therefore might not be able to shut the door. Are you still using the sword?
I'm picturing this as a feint with the sword to drive the attacker back and then slamming the door in his invisible smirking face.

Kanya will draw her mace and move to head back down. She will also try to get Teruk to send some warriors down with her.

Seeing the disturbance, Maju waits a moment to see how the combat develops. However, he does remove a darkstone from his belt pouch, keeping it covered in his hand.
OOC: Maju's range for Magic Missile is 150'. So if he moves in his allotted 40', he should be within range. So if the 'throw sand' approach works to reveal the invisible enemy, Maju would like to move in to range and cast Magic Missile. If not, then Maju will run in order to move in 80' toward the melee (in preparation for next turn). Is it okay for Maju to wait like that to see if the sand works?

OK, that will do.
Saracen casts invisibility as a counter-spell on the creature. He can now see a blurry outline. It isn't exactly humanoid. More like an oval shaped blob.
Yuan Chang tries to fake the creature out and get to the door. His attack is a miss, but it is enough to get past the entity and close to the door. He briefly spies a large room on the other side, with what appear to be more monkeys, lying on stone slabs, and some large glass tubes standing nearby. He closes the door.
Jaali throws a handful of floor dust at the creature. There's a brief glimpse of an oval shaped form, which he monk has just pushed aside. After that, the dust becomes invisible.
The mage takes out a darkstone, takes his magic missile shot and does 11 hit points of damage, in the small window of opportunity provided by the dust.
Kanja tries to convince Teruk and his men to follow her. Teruk and 2 warriors barge past her and get to the bottom of the stairs. Herself and Apinya jog 20' down and end up on the 3rd landing.
Round 3:
Everyone gets to act before the creature except Jaali. Jaali, you may state your action but it won't happen until after my turn. Saracen, you can now see the strange entity and fight normally. If you hit, others that act after you will be at -2 to hit instead of -4.

YC will attack the oval shape after Saracen, using the magic sword.
"What are you and what have you done with these monkeys?"

Maju will look for an opportunity to cast another Magic Missile. If he is unable to see the target, he will just move 40' closer to the action.
