YC goes to the door on the left and opens it.

The door is not open. The door on the right does not look open either.

As you move about more, you all see a few marks on the floor that may be footprints in the dust - hard to tell, unless you are a ranger. (Both are currently upstairs.) You'd say these were not Kanja.

If you want to progress this you will have to pick locks, or kick down doors, or use explosives.

Saracen volunteers to break down the door.

[Longman]

Does this mean you are doing it, or talking about it with your party?

If there are no objections I will do it.

Mybe we should let Jaali try to pick the lock first.

Jaali will inspect the door for any traps before.

[Longman]

You find no traps to remove, and successfully open the door after several minutes of effort.

You are immediately attacked by something that was waiting on the other side of the door. It is invisible, and won surprise.

It also rolled a 1 on its attack roll, and somehow managed to miss you.

You think it is roughly human-sized, but it is hard to tell.

At this point, Saracen, Jaali and the monk are all on hand, and all win the initiative. You may all act.

I believe Kanya is back up top, and Maju seems to have been waiting at the foot of the stairs. They can begin to act next round.
