Maju asks Teruk what he suggests for the group's course of action.

"Maybe we could head back to the west and wait a few hours. We could probably pass near the bees at night, it seems like they didn't want to attack in the darkness."

West seems to be the general choice, and Teruk agrees.
You relocate camp further down the path to the west and have it set up by about 8pm.
The night passes uneventfully. Every now and again you hear the sound of a giant 6-sided dice crashing on the Island to the south, but it never rolls a 1 tonight.
It is now 6am on day 8. You all get back a hit point.
A housekeeping issue - you have had two days now in which the Cleric has had an unused healing spell. If Woe agrees, we can simply say that the Cleric has used both such spells on healing Saracen's injuries.
EDIT: Kanya has refused to do this. You have to be about to die before that woman will heal you, evidently.
Anyway, it's the start of day 8. Saracen, this is the first time you have ever been away from the sea for so long. Tipping sea-water all over your head from your magic water bottle is OK but you are starting to long for the real thing. It's not having any effect in game terms so far - just a role-play thing at this point.
The start of the village is now about 6 hours away. You will be there by midday. What's your plan? Teruk suggests that he sends a few men in advance of the main party to spy in the village before you all go walking in there. It's possible that there are ogres there. It's been about 5 days since Teruk and his men left, so really, anything could have happened.

Kanya nods her approval of Teruk's plan. It might be wise to have Jaali explore the perimeter.

Yuan-Cheng volunteers to go with Jaali. "We can both move silently and we have a better chance of survival if there are two of us if we get caught."

Maju also would like to send Taku to scout the area.

The idea is for Taku to keep an over watch on our scouts, so that he can quickly let us know if they get into trouble.
Also, in preparation for the day's events, Maju decided to prepare ESP instead of Continual light today (OOC: indicated on his character sheet).

Jaali is agreeing to Yuan-Cheng offer.
"I'll glady scout with you, I was a bit afraid this party would have let me get butchered alone. However, do you think you can let someone here take care of your talkative sword ?"

"I'll happily care for your talking sword. I like its perspective on the world. It and I will probably have long conversations about the rest of you."

"The sword can only be used by me. Maju, will you carry it and keep it safe?"
