Maju tells the others, "Taku tells me that a pair of the Skull Warriors escaped. They're traveling south over the lake on some sort of flying device - he says it's a log or stick. So we might have some sort of company eventually. Also, we should keep an eye out for logs that may have been used for this purpose."

Can the gaseous Jaali talks or I need to wait ?

Kanya looks at the dead crab for a moment, almost as if she is disappointed she killed it. She then looks away at the old man, then Maju. "There might be more in the temple, though unknown if they be crabs or warriors."

"Is that the chieftain we were supposed to rescue? He don't look that fierce to me."




I suppose she could also figure it out if Teruk runs to ol' papa with a big smile like my dog would a ribeye steak, so posting this mainly to ensure that part of the story moves forward.

I believe Kanya is out of healing spells for the day.

We are out of rounds, and in minutes.

Teruk arrives a bit after Maju and Apinya, and goes to his father at the cliff's edge. He seems pleased the old guy is still alive. He hugs his cousin Lina and thanks you all profoundly.

YC is now some distance away down the beach. He regains 12hp. The remaining crab returns from chasing YC and starts eating its friends. Jaali has floated up the cliff. He can talk, yes.

There is not much indication of activity from in the temple, except that there are still the sounds of at least one giant scorpion from the sunken garden area (2), and the terrified calls for help of a human man, who seems to be trapped in there (in area 3). Some of Teruk's men are standing over the garden, on the top side, listening.

You do not now where the ogres are, or the rest of Ishakt's men. Maybe they are all dead inside the temple. Lina saw one skull warrior poke his head out the back door, but that was over a minute ago.

The temple is haunted! says Teruk. We must not stay! I want to get my relatives out of here. Why has that big man run away with my mother?

[Woe]

"How many relatives does this oaf have?" she asks Maju. "I recall him needing help rescuing his father before we got assistance with the ship, not his whole bloodline. (pause) How many more relatives does he have in the temple?"

Floating Jaali would like to explore area 5 and 10 before meeting up again with the rest of the party.

Nonsense Teruk, we should kill whatever remains here and then loot the place. And then we probably should pursue your mother. for a reward of course.

Yuan-Cheng will look around, trying to see if there is a safe way out of here so he can rejoin his companions.
