Chapter 2: The Land of Sulan

So we have one crab eating snake, one crab recovering from being stunned, and another fighting Yuan-Cheng.

Yuan-Cheng's face gets grim and determined. He will keep attacking the crab with his 2 fists, hoping to either kill it or get a stunning strike.

DM: No, the crab that was stunned recovered already. It was only 1 round. It just attacked Jaali and hit him.

"Help me with this one Yuan !"

Jaali then attack the crab attacking him. (With his pistol, unless there is a penalty for doing this in melee. In that case, Jaali will use his cutlass)

Quick resolution of round 12 out the back -

Lina makes it to the top. Yuan-Cheng's terrible luck continues against the crabs and he misses twice. The crab fighting him is equally terrible. There's a lot of missing going on.

Jaali attacks the crab with his cutlass to avoid the -5 missile in melee penalty. He misses. The crab misses him twice as well.

Clang, bash, stumble, clatter, swipe, crash, stagger. No damage. It's absurd.

The other crab keeps on snake-snacking. (That's a thing now.) He'll be finished in a few more rounds.

Everyone else in round 12? Or we could move straight into more of the action out the back...

They sound like they need our help! The fastest way would be through the temple, lets go!

Kanya will join the climb with the other men up the ridge.

Yuan-Cheng will try to lead the crab he is fighting to the snake (hoping it will fight with the other crab over the food).

or we could go up the ridge. That works too I suppose. Saracen joins the rest climbing up the ridge.

Jaali will attack (again) the crab attacking him (but will hit this time, right, Longman ? )

Doesn't seem like Mevly is going to post, so I'll say he does the same as the rest of you. You all start the long climb up to the top of the ridge.

You can really only have one person on those ropes at once. The two villagers finish their climb in round12 and the elf and pirate cleric then spend 3 rounds - 13, 14 and 15.

Rounds 13, 14 and 15 out the back

Yuan Cheng again leads the snake away, by doing a withdrawal. Jaali attacks with his cutlass and misses (sorry). The crab misses him twice. The third crab has nearly finished the snake.

Round 14 - Yuan Cheng leads his crab back in again - but it doesn't go for the small remaining portion of snake. Jaali attacks and hits! Unfortunately he only does 2 hp but that crab is now on 13 of 18. It attacks him and misses twice. The third crab finises its meal finally...

Round 15. YC attacks and does only 3hp on the crab that his been following him, which kills it! Jaali attacks his own crab again, and takes it to 16/18. The crabs succeed in morale, and attack. The one on Jaali misses twice. Yuan Cheng is now facing the one that ate the snake. He takes 7 more hp from a crab claw.

At the end of R15, Kanya and Saracen are at the top of the ropes and are looking around. You can't see anybody up there, due to the bushes. You know it's about 300 feet to the back of the temple. In outdoor terms that's under two rounds away for the pair of you.

Round 16. Can you all state your intentions, please. If Maju wants to climb up, that's fine. Otherwise Teruk and Apinya will go.

You guys out the back - you are close to wining but a few bad rounds and Jaali could wind up dead. Be careful out there.
