OOC: Just to clarify, Maju can continue the spell on 'concentrate mode' if I like. Or he can discontinue the spell at no cost in order to use his entire turn, correct?

Kanya will stay within the ring of fire and only attack if charged. If it looks like the round will pass without an action, she'll swear disgustedly at the mage and then cure him for light wounds. I definitely absolutely remember to reverse the spell she's memorized!

Has the spiritual hammer been attacking the last few rounds?

Jaali will climb to a nearby tree and recharge his pistol.

Kanya could have been utilizing her spiritual hammer for the last 2 rounds (2, 3). I forgot to do that. Unfortunately she has missed both times anyway.

These things are quite hard to hit. In part, their skin is tough, and also, they are just too big to worry about small blows.

She now heals the magic user. Maju, you get back 6 hit points as you continue to concentrate on the spell.

In round 4, Jaali and Saracen both reload and the thief can find a suitable tree. The monk runs back and rejoins the villagers. That whole group is about 300 yards away. That's 3 full rounds to get back into the action again.

Round 5 - the dinosaurs win for initiative again. however, they both completely balk at the prospect of running into a wall of fire. They both move about 20 backwards in the direction they came.

The slow spell has now ended and the spiritual hammer has also ended. The wall of fire continues. There are 2 patches of darkness in the jungle! Magical effects all round around.

Incidentally about four of the tall trees are on fire.
