Therefore, if the battle took 10 mins max, your efreet would probably be back to you in an hour and 10 mins.

Here's the difficulty - Djinni can go invisible at will. So can your efreet. But if one saw the other coming in the air, who knows what would happen in the air over the desert?

Yeah - my plan was to instruct the Efreeti to fly invisibly and sneak attack the Djinni.

I gotta say I never really understood cause light wounds as a spell choice (especially if it can't be reversed, as it can in this game.) A touch attack at +3 for 1d6+1 - - or, a giant flail for +5, 1d10+2 and no spell wasted. That's a no-brainer.

In fact she only has one memorised anyway.

I agree, it's a generally useless spell. I picked it up so she would have some flavor -- and because it could be reversed, it was flavor w/o impacting healability. I don't think Kanya ever used it while I played her, but I definitely was looking forward to "hold person + cause wounds (tickle tickle!)"

In a different situation she might have gone over to torture the monk for a laugh, but she kinda has her hands full right now.
