Re: Adventures in the North March
Well Mint, I guess I could see the appeal of the point buy. If another player agrees to it, then I guess a 73-point purchase would be fine so long as no stat goes below 8 nor above 18.Mint wrote:I figure it doesn't hurt to ask so here goes. Can we take the 73 points the given stat numbers add up to and distribute them as we see fit instead? Would give us a bit more leeway in designing characters to our tastes.
My elven fighter would be female, rather hard bitten (especially for an elf), a bit ascetic, and not given to much subtlety. To her, anyone not a fighter is a wet behind the ears ninny who doesn't really belong on an adventure and are more trouble than they're worth as she'll probably have to stand between them and danger. She manages, most of the time, not to let this attitude show. Much.

Kidding! I'll work on my character tonight and try to post. I'm on the road so it might be a few days before we have access to the interwebs again.

Are you still looking for a fifth? I'd like to give it a try.

Re: Adventures in the North March
Excellent! I'll work up a thief for the party.
Re: Adventures in the North March
Excellent! Also, mint wanted to see if anyone else wanted to instead do a 'point-buy' for stats. Do you want to or just stick to the array listed?quozl wrote:Excellent! I'll work up a thief for the party.
