Hey Chris, I realize I can do whatever I want but is their common house out there for allowing demi humans to level beyond their default limit?

I'm sure there is. Iron Falcon is intended to be as close to the classic game as possible; you can do anything you'd do in that game.

Maybe one common (from what I've seen) rule is to increase the XP value for levels above limit from 10% to 100%.

If you are using double XP yes, its like if they where multiclassing, such is the price of going beyond ones limit!

Makes sense to me. It's what I was planning on doing anyways. Boy multiclass characters that decide to go beyond their limit are going to be miserable.

They might be, but level limit already favors them, they can reach a higher XP value than those single-classed
An Elven Fighter can reach max level 5 if enough STR, max XP = 16,000
An Elven Magic User can reach max level 9 if enough INT, max XP = 300,000
An Elven Fighter/Magic user can reach max level 5/9 if enough STR/INT, max XP = 316,000, equal to a Level 9 fighter or Magic User.
An Elven Fighter can reach max level 5 if enough STR, max XP = 16,000
An Elven Magic User can reach max level 9 if enough INT, max XP = 300,000
An Elven Fighter/Magic user can reach max level 5/9 if enough STR/INT, max XP = 316,000, equal to a Level 9 fighter or Magic User.

Remember that multiclass characters have to apply XP to all classes, regardless of whether a limit has been reached or not.

I knew I was forgetting something! (I was just doing half XP for the class earning XP and cero for the other)
OK, lets review my math:
A fighter 5/magic user 9 would have 3000XP divided on both classes for a total 6000XP
He would be equal to a level 10 human magic user or a level 10 human fighter
