Hywaywolf wrote:Edward passively goes along with the tender care, but his spirit is deeply sunk. "Why chase the antman? Why are we down here? What are we supposed to do? Where are we supposed to go? Where are the trees, the flowers, the grass, the sky and the clouds? I want to go home."
"Edward, we're down here because Shaha asked us to go on the quest to save the trees, the grass, and the rest of nature from the mist. Remember? If we don't do that first, the mist will envelop everything you love about home."

"Ferahf, Eli... hello." She offers them a warrior's handshake. "I am Elizabeth Wolfe, from Abertawe. We've down here to find some gemstones containing divine magic capable of driving away a mist that threatens Angland. I know, it sounds like a fairy tale." She smiles. "We think so too, but we've seen the mist firsthand as well as some convincing facts by a few, um... sorceresses. I know this isn't your battle, but if you wish to journey with us until your memories return, I'd welcome your company."

Normally I'd "detect evil" but even if she can (and that's doubtful yet IMO), probably no point checking alignment on party members.

"Edward, remember that trinket that Shaha gave you? Maybe you should try using it. It could tell us where to go."

(OOC: Remember that Edward's "trinket" only shows the location of places put in the Fweth tunnels by members of the Second Age (the age of the Second Children).)

Except for the talking of the members of the party and the sound they make moving about their business quiet descends in your vicinity. All about you are the remains of the antmen and the shambles that has resulted from the brief fight.

There are three exits from this chamber other than by the way you came.

((I hate to OOC this, but Edwards character wouldn't loot the bodies and I can't really think of a roleplay gimmick that would get him to carry their goods away to please mother nature ;). So its going to be a shame if we leave here without doing that. :) ))

"The talisman?" says Edward, regaining his composure. "I don't know if it points the way we should go. I think it just shows us where we can find sustenance and such."

He takes it out anyway and looks at it. Hopefully he was told how to use it.

its a psychological ploy to get Edward's mind on something else. See? It's working. :)

Elizabeth will keep an eye on Edward to make sure his mind is safely away from that dark place, then respectfully lie the bodies in the corner of the room, side by side. In doing so, can she learn anything more about the creatures? Any tribal markings, equipment, journals?

our budding paladin wouldn't loot the dead either, but the guard part of her would look for clues. So you get what you hoped, kinda. ;)

William, having set free the cat man and made introductions, takes up his bow and moves over to the door that the departing ant man went down. He is on guard, listening for movement, and peering down that tunnel.

(jumping ahead, though I'm waiting for Mint to elaborate on the bodies and the trinket usage)

(to the newcomers) "Do either of you know if those were Fweth?"

(eventually, and assuming Edward doesn't have a breakthrough)
"Well, we have to choose a direction somehow. Might as well follow the ant-man. It's the most likely passage that will take us somewhere.* Any objections?"

* This is what you get with a INT 8. :D
