"Definitely. Eia and the other Divine Vowels will protect us."
I'm not sure what the proper honorific is for the Greater Gods. Mint?

William is shivering, not only from the cold but also from the wounds he sustained earlier.
Do any of you have the gift of healing? he asks. Another battle like that may finish me.

Eli steps next to Ferahf and places a hand upon his back. Khat you must be feeling this cold much more than we are with your bare paws upon the floor. Pulling his backpack from his shoulders he rearranges things and then tucks his traveling cloak into the top of it. With the pack open and the blanket folded near the opening he's made a warm and comfortable "nest". Farahf if you'd like you can settle in here for the journey in this cold. I'd appreciate your keen ears and insight as we travel. With you close behind me and sitting comfortably you'll probably be able to better focus on the tunnel ahead instead of your cold feet. Heck, if we end up in combat you may be able to spring from my shoulder and surprise an enemy.
Eli is not trying to be degrading but truly wants to help the Khat travel more comfortably. That and he recognizes that Farahf is probably a better listener than he is and wants to allow him to use his senses to aid us instead of dealing with frozen paws and discomfort.

You continue on further and further into the passage. As you go Edward sees that the little gem inside his talisman expands bit by bit. After a few minutes it becomes nearly full and the gem starts swinging more and more to the east and the right hand wall.
Then, suddenly, it fills completely, and points due east. As you approach, faint tracings of gold and silver light appear on the wall in a distinct circular pattern.
As she walks along Elizabeth seems to sense a feather light touch on her consciousness for a moment that seems almost an invitation to spend time exploring it.

"Anyone think we should keep going?" Elizabeth says wryly. Then more seriously, "can anyone make out what these markings mean?"

Ferahf climbs inside the backpack, //Thank you Eli, Your kindness is appreciated. I will be happy to provide what knowledge I can. \\ When they get to the wall Ferahf stares at it. // I know what this is, I can read what must be done. If you can open your minds you will feel there is a faint line that needs to be traced. If you can do that the door will open I cannot tell if we all need to do it at once. Or if it needs to be done one at a time.\\

Try it first and we will see what happens, cat-man, says William.
In the meantime he pushes about 20' up the north past the group, and stands on guard against attack from that direction. (Generally he usually stands vanguard when we come to a halt).
