No one suggested splitting our party, Alrone. We we either all go west, or we all follow the compass. I am strongly in favor of going west, as I said. We said before that Sergeant Wolfe was out leader, so I think she should decide. But whatever may we go, let us make it soon.

Eli is confident in scouting ahead of the group no matter which way we go. He'll lead unarmed (swords sheathed, bow held in one hand but no arrow nocked) so he can fully inspect the area in front of him.

"Just far enough to know whether we're going to be ambushed right quick, then back to our compass heading -- true north."

Elizabeth follows Eli, about 30'-40' behind. She doesn't want to interfere with his ability to scout ahead.

Heading down the western passage it is not long before Elifain comes to a large ragged hole in the left hand wall about 10' around. It has obviously been punched through in some way after the passage was built. The passage continues, straight as arrow, into the distance.

Edward follows after Ms Wolf. His eyes look at the ceiling, the walls, the passage floor and behind him in a revolving pattern. He listens carefully for sounds coming up from behind.

Eli holds up a hand to let the others know he's discovered something. He'll then peer into the hole. If he sees and hears nothing he'll look at the ground for tracks. Once the others have approached he'll let the know what's he's seen/heard.

Alrone shall do the same walk slowly to eli and will stare into the hole to try and see if there is anything there. He whispers to everyone else "Tell me if you need a burst of light to fit back the darkness"

"I'm curious which way the ant-man went, though it doesn't seem like there is an immediate threat from this direction. That is good, because I'd must rather have a peaceful walk to Edward's destination than fight more of those ant-men." she says while stretching her wounded ribs.
