Edward looks about him as they move into this more posh neighborhood. He felt more comfortable down in the lower city. Up here he felt dirty and unwanted. He shrunk into himself as they find themselves approaching a beautiful building that he was starting to suspect was their place to sleep.

You all make it to the top of Upton Hill and the crowd of people let you through, their faces flushed and excited at seeing what they feel is the cause of all the commotion and strangeness below. None of them seem to notice Edward at all, especially when they see the woman on horseback and the older man at her side who look like they know how to use their weapons. The young girls look like they want to ask Alrone all about the goings on but they blush and hang back as the party passes.
After a bit you make it to the Red Lion Inn where a footman helps you ease the unconscious girl from the horse and he, at least, seems a kind hearted old gentleman. A hostler comes up and takes the horse in tow to the stables while you make your way into the warmth of the Inn.

Once in the inn, let's retire to a private room.
Elizabeth will inquire of a larger private room for Shaha and herself and the two will retire there immediately. It'd be unseemly for the three men to enter as well.
Once there, she'll take a better look at Shaha's health; put her near the fire (if present) and keep her wrapped up in that winter blanket (if not). If she can get some hot tea sent to the room, that'd be great as well.
Guys, sneak in later. The door is unlocked.

Alrone hands Elizabeth two of the keys to rooms he obtained a while earlier and when the staff see you and Shaha a whole passel of maids appear out of seemingly nowhere. While the bellhops begin tending to the party's belongings and showing the men to their quarters the maids escort the ladies to the rooms that will be Shaha's.
When you enter you find the suite to consist of a small sitting room and beyond it a large well appointed bedroom with a bright little fire burning in the fireplace. To one side a door opens to a bathroom beyond. The rooms are all airy, well lit, deeply carpeted, appointed with lace, carved wood, curtains, frills, bellpulls, chandeliers, overstuffed chairs, small tables, and all the other amenities needed to ensure the comfort of the Red Inn's rarefied guests.
Shaha is duly laid on the bed and the maids make to undress her so they can get her warmly under the covers.

Elizabeth dismisses the maids. "It's ok. I can take it from here. She's very particular about who disrobes her, especially humans. It's some elvish custom. I don't totally understand it myself. I've seen her go into a fierce rage when it's violated." She discretely hands the head maid a silver piece as she shepherds the staff to the door. "Thank you very much for your help. Could you ask for some hot chamomile tea to be sent up to the room, and a beef stew if the kitchen has one available?"
Once the maids are gone, she'll remove Shaha's boots but leave the cloak about her (unless it's wet -- it's not wet, is it?) and then bundle her up in the bed, cloak and all. Are there any bed warmers in the room? Elizabeth would prefer to leave Shaha's cloak of modesty intact, though she'll take more drastic precautions if Shaha's body temperature does not start rising.

While Liz tends to the strange girl in their care, William grans a bite to eat, goes out and does whatever shopping Liz and he require, and them comes back as fast as possible.
He will scout the Inn and make sure of exits, escape routes, shady characters, etc. (He wants the layout, basically.)

Edward wanders thru the interior of the Red Lion Inn. He is amazed that they have actual potted plants inside. He stops to speak to each plant and carefully prunes a bit here and a bit there, check the soil for water content and tasting a bit to deduce acidity level. He finds the plantings to be in fairly good shape and approves of the gardeners efforts. He moves outside to wander the paths within the Inn's grounds. "Paving stones ..." he mutters to himself. "I suppose the likes of the people who stay here regularly wouldn't want to get their footwear dirty. "
He meandered until he came upon a carp pond with a nearby bench. He sat and watched the fish glide easily through the water. He was sure he could see a few bream in the shadows and a long sleek looking pike flash through. He could smell another pond not far away and could since it was full of lampreys. Not a pond you wanted to go wading in. He sat quietly and communed with the greenlife around him. Every blade of grass, leaf and pond grass seemed to grow straighter.
Later as evening approached he returned to the upper floors to meet with these new companions he had somehow found himself attached.

When the maids have left Elizabeth removes the snow soaked cloak from the unconscious Shaha and looks her over carefully before pulling the bedclothes over her.
One thing is abundantly clear. The girl is not elven. What she is exactly Elizabeth isn't quite sure. At first and even second glance she most definitely appears human. There are subtle differences, however, to the sum of her features that, when taken as a whole, seem somehow different.
The clothing the girl is wearing is another strange thing. The cloth, as she had noticed before is so thin and light that it is diaphanous. It also glimmers as the sun moves over it. Further it is one long, thin, continuous ribbon that begins at the left wrist, winds it's way loosely up the arm, down around the girl's torso, down the right leg to her ankle, then back up around the torso again, down her left leg, back up for another go around her torso and finally down her right arm finishing at the wrist.
The garment, if such it is, is clasped at the ankles, knees, wrists, elbows, and neck with wire thin strands of gold and tiny gems that seem to be more than ornamentation.
The whole thing weighed together might come to an ounce.
The pearlescent glow that had been there earlier while the girl was still somewhat conscious as disappeared.
Other than the garment the only other items the girl has on her besides her sandals are a small crystal vial on a delicate chain lying between her breasts that seems half full with a purple liquid and a small pouch attached to a ring in the cloth at her side.

Once settled into his sumptuous and spacious suite William finds his way down to the Inn's dining area and, at last, has a wonderful meal that involves sausages in there somewhere. The waitress is pleased to serve him and the meal ends pleasantly and he forks over three copper pence.
Asking directions of the doorman he is directed to a shop dealing with goods of a general nature down in the north quarter.
Arriving there he opens the door to the place, finds it practically bulging at the seams with a vast array of goods.
An elderly gentleman looks up as he enters, smiles pleasantly, and asks, "Yes sir. What can I help you with?"
