With eyes wide open with surprise Kynndelic says: "If your tale is false it is at least grandiose. I'll escort you Lady. To satisfy my curiosity, at least."

Hywaywolf wrote:Edward's eye are bright with devotion. "I am for you, Shaha. What little I can do, I will do, for you. Are we to go into the Mist? Do you have any powers that will allow us to survive their?"
"In Caerton we must bring together things of magic in order to make a staff that will protect us from the Mist. One of you has already been given a part of it. Another will be given once we arrive. Yet a third will be given before then. Thank you for your willingness to help. I need to go rest now. In the morning I will meet you on deck. Wake early Edward, I believe someone would like to see you again." Shaha smiles, nods, and goes through the door to the inner passage.
After a bit of small talk the Captain takes his leave also after bidding you all rest while you can and you each return to your cabins deep in thought.
You wake next morning before dawn, feeling the ship riding differently in the water as it draws to the end of it's voyage, now only hours away.

Alrone shall similarly psyche himself up partly for this adventure but also with his meeting with lainai. He will also make it clear to everyone (a few hours before we reach shore) that he will head straight to the tavern. "You guys, can contact me when we need to head out. Also tell me if you see any magicians hahaha"

Joscelin will go on the deck before the breakfast, to see the sunrise and hopefully, the land at last.

aaaaand....William probably would have made some remark about being glad thaty Shaha is finally telling us the nature of the mission in person.
"Delivering a message!" he scoffs quietly to himself. "The dishonesty of it. But now at least we know what we are really being asked to do."
William is happy to join the party alongside Elizabeth. He'll go above deck at the first sight of land and feast his eyes on it. As soon as we get ashore he's for an Inn, and sausages.

"William, can I get you to write a note for me? Please inform the Gwyr steward that we will be delayed due to ship business and will attend his Lordship presently. We can ask the captain to hire a messenger to deliver the missive for us."
Wow, I never knew that Elizabeth could be so formal!

William writes the note to the march steward, as requested. Hopefully the captain can indeed find someone to deliver it for us. Nothing is getting in the way of the squire and his first meal on land in five days.

Edward awakes in the wee hours before dawn and makes his way to the deck and then all the way forward to his normal perch on the beakhead where it does his morning routine - waste byproducts over the side and then sits in quiet communion with the creatures of the dawn and the sound of wind and wave. He thinks of all the things that he is grateful that mother earth (?) has provided for him. A calling, a devotion, comrades, eyes to see beauty, ears to hear honesty, nose to smell the fragrance of all living things. When he sense the change of dawn approaching, he opens his eyes and watches the majesty once again.

"I think that's what I like best about you Edward. Always enjoying a new day." says the little girl's voice to your side. You look and see the little blonde haired girl in her short white dress sitting to the side and slightly above you on her own little perch. In her hands she holds a large egg-shaped piece of amber about the size of a heart. In it's center is a bright golden spark of light.
"Give this to Shaha for me. Tell her Aili sent it." the little girl says as she hands it to you. "She knows it of course but we all have to follow the Pattern."
Aili gives a little disconsolate sigh and looks into the dawn, "I'll miss her." You see a little crystal tear form at the edge of her eye and then she looks towards you again and her little pink lips form into a sweet smile and she leans forward and kisses your cheek. "Be always well Edward." Then she is gone.
