Apparently that INT=8 is not just limited to Elizabeth, but also her player.

I'm not sure about the size of Abertawe. I was thinking it was small (~600 ppl) with about a dozen in the guard, but not much beyond that. How about we invert things, where Elizabeth is from the small town and William the larger town?

Wow, I didn't realized that too. Seems like I have some cash to spend before tomorrow.

Edit : Done. I almost chose to get a longbow, but went for a Noble's Outfit instead

At 8 it just means you're a bit slow witted but have no marked learning disabilities. On the other hand no one expects sparkling repartee or for her to be able to fathom the nuances of the flows of the arcane energies. Hence my insistence that no one take a score of less than 8. You are, however, free to play up her slow wittedness.

You are a bit more than halfway between Lyndon-Upon-Tems and Caerton after having made a brief stop at Abertawe where our intrepid paladin and her erstwhile squire boarded ship.

This is your first gathering together and you neither know each other nor the Captain. As is common practice the Captain makes a habit of inviting passengers to share his table at least once per voyage.

The Sylvan Sea is a ship of fair size though it's passengers are, at present, few.
