How about we all flip a coin, and the odd one doesn't get a ring at all? Mint can handle the logistics.

Edward is confused enough by the spinny delving device he already has. A ring would just overwhelm him. So don't place his name in the hat for a ring.

And that's how we get to an odd number. Bad at math, or prescient?

I suppose if we all flipped a coin until we didn't all have the same result or have a tie then we could end up with an odd man out.

To prevent unnecessary delays I decided to assign you each a number based on the alphabetical order of your character class and determined that the fighter (IE: William) ended up with the rings. He can keep them or pass them to someone else. They're for the benefit of the party as a whole and only temporarily in your custody.

Jandolar will be joining us shortly. Yay!
Soon as I get poor Nightwulf introduced...

I think the rings should go to either me or Alrone. Edward doesn't want them and Liz is in heavy armor.
Alrone do you want to function as the Mage-Thief until either or the Khat or a new thief arrives? If you do, the rings are yours. But you'll have to do scouting in them sometimes. If you don't want that, I'll take them and do the scouting when required.
Also - Mint I think you may have missed a post earlier where I asked about
Can I use the mace and a cutlass in my other hand? My character normally uses two cutlasses.
Do we know what Draka, Fweth etc actually look like?

Sorry 'bout that.
The mace has no weight and the cutlass I believe qualifies as a main weapon in two handed combat so I think I can reasonably allow that combination.
No no one got around to actually describing them to you. Not to worry though. Nightwulf's character will know and you should be meeting him RSN.

Regarding combat.
The way I've seen it work in other PBP games and the way I'm going to do it is more or less cinematic in the sense that when it starts I'll describe what you see and you, in turn, describe what you intend to do. On my end I'll roll the die for init and to hit and damage and work out who did what when and post it. This will repeat til combat ends.

Works for me. I'm quite sure that you will roll dice as well as the rest of us.
