@Mint: I forgot to chose prepared spells.
Here they are:
0-level: Mage hand, Clean
1st-level: Protection from Evil, Sleep

Each race speaks it's own tongue with no further delineations. Only Half-Orcs can learn Orc. Only a member of one the races in the "New Races" supplement can learn their language. Other than that all races can learn each other's languages enough to get by.
If you feel really strongly about the above restrictions I'm open to bending the rule provided you write a really good (quality and logic) background to cover it.

Today I am purposefully leaving you all to your own devices.
Some of you have started interacting with each other and another has gone exploring.
Feel free to get to know each other better. Approach another player character and strike up a conversation if you haven't already.
If you feel like it approach a crew member (don't go looking for the Captain or other high ranked officers - tradition makes these men lords of their domain and they don't often enjoy having their day interrupted by landsmen).
Do more specific exploring.
You never know.

Yike!
Your character can pick any of the other PC races' languages with the exception of races listed in the "New Races" supplement. Since you are an elf your native language is Elven. Human is the "Common" language of Aerth since it is humans who are the only sailors of the world and therefore their tongue is the world's trade language so you know that also. Other than the Orcs there are no
known humanoid races on Aerth and only Half-Orcs can learn that language.

Alright. Dwarven sounds good. Thank you for bringing it to my attention and for bearing with me. Things look good.

True. So I figured I'd save us all a bit of time by saying it so we'd avoid that tedious bit of byplay.

Probably wont be a problem with daily posting though.... Can I spontaneously reverse my light into darkness?
