Part Five: The Hunters and the Hunted

Unless of course. something really really bad happens.

"Then I would act carefully" says Gerald.

At this point, Akarrus up ahead hears a sound from further off in the wood. It sounds like branches snapping rapidly, and it is getting louder.

[Nightwulf]

Akarrus stand there listening for a few seconds. Then he turns and ghosts back to the rest of the group. "There is something moving rapidly this way. I would suggest hiding until it passes seeing as how there is plenty of cover around. We could also try ambushing what or whoever it is."

"Just as well" says Gerald "quickly, find cover." With this he dashes off to hide among a clump of thick foliage nearby. There is no shortage of similar foliage clumps about, and it looks like one could hide easily.

Akarrus walks and crouches down in the undergrowth. He faces the direction of the sound so he can see what is approaching. Trusting his cloak to camouflage him he gently eases his daggers out of the sheath and into his hands. He waits ready to move quickly if required.

Lys looks around for a convenient bit of cover and hurries to it, disappearing behind it.

[SerGavin]

Haldor hides in a clump of grass, being very careful to conceal him self, he stares warily at the road.

The sound continues to gain in intensity, as its source comes closer.

[SerGavin]

Haldors peeks out from behind the foliage, looking for the source of the sound.
