"You must not forsake your training. To leave behind that which you know is to invite death.' That is part of an oath I took during my training. Would you have me destroy that which keeps me sane?" Akarrus says

"To the contrary, my friend, use your abilities to their fullest. Perhaps you would like to scout ahead?" Asks Gerald.

"Well my good Mage, I believe I spoke of some of the dangers earlier, but I will explain again to refresh your memory. There are of course natural dangers, such as storms, avalanches, and mudslides. However, these only occur under the right conditions, and due to the fact that there is not a cloud in the sky, you need not worry about those. Then of course there are the more unnatural occurrences. Goblins and Kobolds both dwell in the Ruined Lands. The goblins keep foul wolves and Worgs as pets. I have seen a few other creature, but only deeper within the Ruined Lands, and not often. I feel with our skills, we should be adequately equipped to deal with any such creatures."

Akarrus goes to the front of the group. "Very well I shall do as you ask. However keep an eye on the road behind." Once he is far enough away from the party he listens for danger on the road ahead. As well as to the surrounding bird calls keeping an ear out for distress calls and sudden periods of silence anything to denote as to approaching danger. He scans the road and the undergrowth around it keeping an eye out for any movement.

Goblins eh? well I'm pretty sure that we can handle goblins' and wolves, wolves should pose no threat. I've never seen a worg properly though.

(Remember, you guys are in the woods, not on the road)

"Worgs are simply large wolves" says Gerald. "But they have a mean streak a mile wide"

"Remember, you won't see them coming. Your ears are more important than your eyes."

"I shall always do my best Gerald however I sometimes fear that my best is not enough. Through these dangerous lands I try to keep one consoling thought in my head: if even one of us makes through alive, I won."
